MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Dana Bay Conservancy is once again urging visitors and residents of the area to drive with caution and reduce their speed.
This urgent appeal comes after yet another antelope was hit by a vehicle and died. The incident took place in Scabra Street yesterday, 9 January just after 19:00.
The Mossel Bay Advertiser has previously reported on several incidents of wildlife either killed or injured by vehicles in the Dana Bay area.
Again, Dana Bay Conservancy chairperson, Erika van der Westhuizen, asks motorists to reduce their speed and be vigilant of wildlife grazing at the roadside or attempting to cross the road, especially at night.
