MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Funduro, also presented by Legend Events for the first time at this year's Garden Route 4x4 and Outdoor Expo, is exactly what the name says - fun galore!
"The Funduro is a 12km scenic motorcycle trail between the beautiful farms in the Kleinberg area, with views of the pristine Outeniqua and Langeberg Mountains. Even toddlers can participate on their peewee bikes," says Ferdinand Rabie of Legend Events.
The "enduro" part, Rabie explains, entails a challenge to see how many laps riders can complete within 3 hours.
The race takes place on 27 November from 12:00 to 15:00. There are two option available to racers, namely the Green Loop (12km) which caters for a maximum for 200 riders and the Red Loop (23km) for no more than 150 riders.
Race entry fees are R185 (Green Loop) and R250 (Red Loop). This includes a race finisher's medal and entry to the expo.
Online entries close on 25 November, but racers are allowed to enter on the day at an extra charge of R30.
