MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A number of Mossel Bay municipal councillors visited Sonskynvallei on Sunday, 15 August, to seek to address problems experienced by residents there.
One of the issues was a report that children are removing the lids on manholes, leaving open holes which are dangerous.
Where necessary, the Mossel Bay Municipality replaces the lids with ones which cannot be removed by the children.
The councillors were joined by representatives of the municipality's Infrastructure Services directorate, who also assessed problems in Sonskynvallei, as well as a building inspector who attended to complaints about the illegal construction of informal dwellings.
