MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Members of the public, especially holiday makers are urged to be mindful of where they leave valuable items.
During the past few days in Mossel Bay, housebreaking and theft has been reported at a guest house in the central business district.
A Bluetooth speaker was stolen through an open window. During another incident reported at the Milkwood Caravan Park, an Xbox and game was stolen from a tent.
In Da Nova, a bicycle was stolen, but later retrieved and in Heiderand, a suspect was seen fleeing after attempting to steal a cell phone from holiday flats.
“We urge the public be remain vigilant,” says Wo Pieter Koekemoer, spokesperson of the Mossel Bay Police Station.
Atop this, six motorists were arrested in the CBD for driving under the influence of alcohol.
