MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Garden Route Port Festival took place at the weekend and was a huge success.
Visitors were entertained by local talent on stage until national, acclaimed artist Vusi Nova took over the stage.
Various beach sports were enjoyed and career exhibitions were hosted. The children's activity zone was a big drawcard, jam-packed with things to do.
Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) arranged for an exciting programme for the festival.

The festivities were free and open to all. Excited Mossel Bay residents also watched the rugby final at the festival beer garden and on the main stage.
Besides Vusi Nova, highlights included performances by national hit-makers Kwesta, as well as a host of local artists including the Mossel Bay Harmonic voices, Die Wasgoedlyn, Soulistic Harmonies, G Minor, Anushka & Keenan, Gody, Fanatics SA, Beat Kings, Space Music, Hakkies Draad and DJ Cat.
A marimba band and various dance performances also thrilled the crowd.
