MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Community Projects Awareness (CPA) Forum serves as a dynamic network that warmly welcomes individuals and organisations dedicated to effecting positive change in the community.
This is according to Thinus Mouton, who formed the forum. He and his wife run an NPO, assisting vulnerable children.
The CPA Forum is for charities and NPOs to network and collaborate on projects and prevent working in silos.
Noting the diversity of NPOs, their roles and their beneficiaries, Mouton points out that biker clubs are also NPOs and organise all sorts of charitable biker runs and rallies to assist other NPOs and worthy causes.
Mouton says: "We are a collective of like-minded individuals who come together quarterly for a coffee session, providing a platform for meaningful connections and mutual understanding.
"During these gatherings, no one represents a specific organisation, instead we unite under the common causes our organisations champion.
"This alignment fosters collaboration and synergy. To build a more robust and healthier community, active engagement is key, and we wholeheartedly encourage all community-serving organisations to initiate and nurture inter-organisational relationships.
"Together, our collective efforts can have a profound and lasting impact."
