MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A Mossel Bay motorist who was allegedly five times over the legal drinking limit was one of 44 people arrested in the Western Cape this past long weekend for drunken driving.
The province’s traffic chief, Kenny Africa, said that up until Monday a total of 735 motorists were tested for alcohol over the Easter long weekend.
He said that the motorist stopped in Mossel Bay had blood alcohol reading of “1.30mg/100ml, five times over the legal limit”.
The suspect will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrates Court today on a charge of drunk driving.
