Ace Models now has branches in Paarl, George, Mossel Bay, Durbanville, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein and Welkom. Ace Models will also soon cross border and become international with their latest branch opening in Namibia.
Donique Leonard from Mossel Bay, who recently took over the local branch and has more than nine years' experience, along with the Director of Ace Models George, Isobel Vermeulen, participated in the competitions hosted during the conference, during which many models excelled and won awards.
The results are: Ace Models Kids (age group 3-10) Elle Engelbrecht (3rd), Anzel Alberts (2nd), Monique van Aswegen (1st); Ace Models Teens (age group 12-15) Nikite Brink (3rd), Zeta Bake (2nd), Simone Koen (1st); Ace Models Seniors (3rd) Chanre Raal, (2nd) Zani du Toit, Juvani de Toit (1st). The overall winner in the male category is Rory Butler from Mossel Bay and Chanre Paal from Paarl walked away with a contract from Pure Model Management. The South Cape models scored the top notch in the team category, with 16 of their 32 models who were scouted by two of the biggest modelling agencies in Cape Town.
TopCo scouted Simone Koen, Sabrina Horn, Carla Voight, Anzel Alberts, Tyla Robertson, Monique van Aswegen, Robynne Edwards, Elle Englebrecht, Anabelle Davids, Nikite Brink, Rory Butler, Marinda Earle, Jonel van Niekerk. Juvani du Toit, Carla Voight, Nikite Brink, Marizaan du Toit were scouted by Gabriella NetoPure Management.
Nicoline du Preez from George, winner of the best design award at last year's Miss Garden Route and Klein Karoo pageant, sponsored some of the models' outfits.
