MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Police have launched a manhunt for three suspects following the murder of a Bangladeshi man at his shop in Mossel Bay on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie says they have arrested a 32-year-old man from Thembalethu in connection with the murder.
A preliminary investigation reveals that the suspect was part of a group of four who went into the shop in Sampson Street at around 19:35.
"One was armed with a firearm and shot the victim in the chest. They then proceeded to the sleeping quarters behind the shop and shot another man in his leg." Pojie says members of Da Gamaskop followed up on in information that the suspects fled in a white polo and spotted the vehicle on the N2 near George.

Three suspects fled when the driver briefly stopped and the driver was arrested shortly thereafter. He will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate court on Tuesday.
