Spies says the driver of the Volkswagen Polo was arrested on a charge of reckless and negligent driving.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 26-year-old man was arrested on the scene on the R328 near Sonskynvallei where three provincial traffic vehicles were involved in a crash last night.

Police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies says according to information, police were dispatched to the scene.

“On arrival they found three provincial traffic vehicles and a Volkswagen Polo that collided. Three vehicles left the road and came to a halt in a ditch. Three occupants sustained injuries. They were taken to hospital by an ambulance.”

Spies says the driver of the Volkswagen Polo was arrested on a charge of reckless and negligent driving.

He remains in police custody and will appear in court once charged
