MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Next week, the Mossel Bay municipal libraries are hosting special programmes for Library Week that focus on various activities to enrich the lives of the public.
All the libraries are running their own programmes, unique to their communities. These programmes are available on the Mossel Bay Municipality's Facebook page for viewing.
The theme of the Library Week is "Telling a powerful story".
Activities at the libraries commence on 20 March and continue until 31 March.
Some of the highlights are a membership drive in the community and greater visibility of library services, as well as the launch of an autism-friendly reading corner at the Mossel Bay Library in Marsh Street.
With the Mossel Bay Municipality's focus on universal access in order to offer dignified experiences to all residents and visitors, especially people with disabilities, the library is introducing its autism-friendly reading corner at 11:00 on 23 March.
