MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Fire, Rescue & Disaster Management Services personnel this morning assisted members of the SA Police Bomb Squad to sanitise the KwaNonqaba Police Station.
This followed after a member of the police station tested positive for Covid-19 and, as a result, the police station had to be closed to the public on Thursday, 4 June.
The KwaNonqaba police will for the time being operate from the KwaNonqaba Community Hall in Mayixhale Street, just opposite the police station.
The station's liaison officer, Sers Kapp, says urgent matters can be reported to the police at the community hall, while the sector telephone numbers will still be available - 082 379 3942 (Sector 1) or 082 302 5927 (Sector 2).
Complaints can be reported to the SA Police Mossel Bay Police Station (044 606 2800), which will then be redirect to the KwaNonqaba police sector vehicles to attend to.
The KwaNonqaba SAPS sector vehicles can also be contacted directly to report complaints. It is estimated that the KwaNonqaba police station will reopen on Monday, June 8, 2020, for normal services.
