MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Western Cape Minister of Agriculture, Dr Ivan Meyer draped the mayoral robe over Dirk Kotzè’s shoulders who will act as executive mayor of Mossel Bay for the next five years.
“As captain of this ship, we navigate the way. I honour former captains for setting the course. We thank those in the engine room, the administration, for their excellent work.
"Mossel Bay is a beacon of hope and a lighthouse in stormy weather. I humbly accept this mammoth task and will do my best. With me, I have a full competent team. The challenges are real, but we dare not be paralyzed with doubt and fear.
"The main objective of a mayor is to provided strategy and direction. A large part of this, is growth and forming strategic partnerships and relationships with people that are just as excited about the future of Mossel Bay as we are.”
