Eerste amptelike raadsvergadering
Die nuutverkose munisipale raad van Mosselbaai het vandag in die stadsaal hul eerste raadsvergadering gehou. Tydens die geleentheid is raadsheer Dirk Kotze tot uitvoerende burgemeester verkies en raadsdame Venolea Fortuin tot speaker. Sy is die eerste vrou wat die posisie op Mosselbaai sal beklee. Premier van die Wes-Kaap, Alan Winde, asook ministers Tertuis Simmer (menslike nedersettings) en dr Ivan Meyer (landbou) het die geleentheid bygewoon.
