SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - Eden Nomad Bowls offered a helping hand with useful donations to two organisations that play a constructive role among the needy in the regional community.
The bowlers handed over a Dell projector together with copy paper, purchased in conjunction with the Old Mutual Care & Share Programme, to Options in George.
Laurie Edwall of Options received the projector and gave a short talk on the work they do and good outcomes they achieve in helping single, pregnant girls.
The donation was handed over by Nomad committee member Cryshelle Reis and president of Eden Nomad Bowls Wim Venter.
Eden Nomad Bowls also donated two trolleys of groceries purchased at Pick n Pay Langeberg Mall, in conjunction with the Old Mutual Care & Share Programme, to God's Creation Rehabilitation Centre in Mossel Bay.
The food was accepted by Werner and Sophie van Asgewen who, with very little funds, give from the bottom of their hearts to help people battling with drug abuse.
They are working tirelessly to feed the children and struggle to keep young people off the streets.
The food was handed over by Nomad committee member Helen Venter, president of Eden Nomad Bowls Wim Venter, and secretary of Eden Nomad Bowls Margaret Burger.
