MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 28-year-old suspect was arrested and appeared in court this week, following an incident on 7 March during which a man was stabbed and a house set alight in Dyosi Street, KwaNonqaba.
On Monday, 14 March, the KwaNonqaba Police arrested Lwando Sithisi on charges of housebreaking, assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm and arson.
It is alleged that during the incident on Monday, 7 March, Sithisi broke down the door of a property in Dyosi Street at approximately 03:00.
At the time of the incident, four people including a 45-year-old man, 30-year-old woman and two toddlers aged three and one year were in the house.
