Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay branch of the Garden Route SPCA confirmed that all five pigs seen trotting along Marsh Street towards the Harry Giddey Park are now safe and sound at the SPCA in Bill Jeffery Street, KwaNonqaba.
The SPCA confirmed at 14:50 on Thursday, 19 April that the missing piglet had been found. The family of pigs - two adults and three piglets - may be fetched by their owner at the SPCA.
SPCA inspector Luyanda Renge and SPCA staffer Whitey Koppies were the heroes of the day.
They had first tried to capture the pigs in Extension 22 but were unsuccessful and then they caught the pigs at Harry Giddey Park.
One of the piglets proved difficult to catch and disappeared into bushes, but was eventually found.
