Dear Editor. This school holiday my family and I spent 4 wonderful days in Mossel Bay. Above the wonderful natural beauty and sea views, I was really blown away by how neat, tidy and well-run the town is. I saw people working everywhere picking up litter, working on roads, mowing verges and generally taking pride in the town. My family and I had such a lovely time - water slides the ATKV waterpark, swimming at the 'Poort' every day, and even experienced "pap and kaaiings" for the first time. But the holiday was made even better feeling at all times that we were undoubtedly in one of the best run towns in South Africa. Mossel Bay municipality and Mayor Dirk Kotze, and his whole team, can feel incredibly proud. Hats off to you, Mosselbaaiers! Kind Regards, Geordin Hill-Lewis, Mayor of Cape Town
