Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The suspect accused of the murder of Heleen Annandale (62) reappeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court today, 3 October.
Sonwabile Mbambo (39) faces charges of murder and theft of a vehicle (Annandale's car was discovered abandoned in KwaNonqaba).
The case has been postponed once again to Friday 10 October, when his bail application is expected to be finalised.
Annandale's body was found in her flat in Crook Street near the Mossel Bay town centre on Monday 1 September, with a wound to the neck.
Medical personnel declared her dead on the scene.
Mbambo was arrested less than 48 hours afterwards. He will remain in police custody until his next court appearance.
