MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 23-year-old was arrested when the Mossel Bay Police conducted a sting operation at a business called Merry-Jane in Cuff Street, Mossel Bay, this morning, 2 October.
A provincial police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Malcolm Pojie, said the Mossel Bay Police had received some complaints from residents regarding the illegal dealing of drugs, upon which they registered an inquiry docket and conducted the operation.
“During the search of the premises, the members confiscated 3.7kg of dagga and dagga products. They subsequently arrested a 23-year-old man for illegally dealing in dagga,” said Pojie.
The man is set to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court tomorrow, 3 October.
