New roof at Mossel Bay's Thusong Centre completed
The ribbon cutting ceremony at the opening of the new roof at the Thusong Centre in KwaNonqaba.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The section of the Thusong Centre where a new roof was built was officially opened on Friday 26 September. 

Following a meeting by contractors and the Mossel Bay Municipality on 16 May, construction was recently completed. 

The expansion project entailed constructing a roof over a section of the courtyard. 

Mayor Dirk Kotzé said this was done for a simple reason: to ensure people have a roof over their head while waiting for services. 

Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Ricardo Mackenzie, also attended the opening.
