An audience of 300 strong turned up for this year's event, produced by Ace Models directors Isobel Vermeulen (George) and Donique Leonard (Mossel Bay). Tiny models like little Rosie Kock, a tender three years old, were quite a show-stopper, dressed in Punaki Kids. Many other local designers participated in the event this year and especially newcomer Lindie Edwards's line of marine inspired clothing, was like a fresh ocean breeze.
Judges at the showcase included Caro van Zyl, a boutique owner from George and former international model; FanJam Modeling agency's Fanie Nel, an acclaimed fashion photographer and his business partner, James Emmanuel; Marelize Earle-Steyn, freelance writer, TV personality and winner of various local and international beauty titles, as well as internationally acclaimed designer of haute couture, Deon Oelofse.
