Chad le Clos was victorious on three occasions, bringing home the gold in the 200m butterfly with a time of 1:55.80, while the silver went to Denmark’s Viktor Bromer in 1:56.30 and the bronze to Australia’s Christopher Wright in 1:57.03.
In the 100m freestyle, Le Clos’s time of 48.96 won him the race title, over a second ahead of Argentina’s Federico Grabich in 49.39 and France’s Jeremy Stravius in 49.42. SA’s Caydon Muller came fourth in 49.63 and Douglas Erasmus eighth in 50.10.
