MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Surf Lifesaving Club (MBSLC) Nippers won six medals at the Nippers' Carnival in Plettenberg Bay on the weekend of 27 and 28 January.
Ten Nippers from MBSLC competed in the carnival, which was attended by Eden Nipper teams as well as two teams from Port Elizabeth and one from East London.
Some of the events on Saturday, 27 January took place in slight drizzle and thankfully only one event took place on the Sunday because it was extremely hot.
The MBSLC Nippers were up against about 15 to 20 competitors in each event. In every event there were knockout stages and then a final, barring one event where the competitors were few, so the event consisted of only one heat.
