MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Linèl Engelbrecht of SWD Electrosharks in Mossel Bay is participating in the SA Underwater Hockey Junior Nationals Tournament in Port Elizabeth.
The tournament started yesterday, 28 February, and continues until tomorrow, Saturday 2 March.
Linèl is playing for Boland's U19 ladies' team.
Leanne Walmsley of SWD Electrosharks and Absolutely Scuba, says: "Linèl is an absolute superstar and despite her many sporting accolades, she is committed to underwater hockey and Absolutely Scuba was only too pleased to sponsor R1 500 towards her tour fee."
Leanne added: "We are playing underwater hockey again at the Dias indoor heated pool on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 18:00 to 19:30.

In terms of scuba diving in Mossel Bay, she said: "We have moved from the Mossel Bay harbour and we have now consolidated our operational dive centre to our retail and activity booking centre, Absolutely Scuba, situated at Shop 7, Church Street, opposite the Protea Hotel and Tourism office. We can ping you our location over WhatsApp."
Leanne says dive planning for boat dives takes place between 17:00 and 18:00 the night before the dive to allow for gear preparation and payment.
