With the final scheduled for Thursday, Mariska could meet Christine Schoenn of France in the finals who will be hunting another win after clinching two titles in South Africa earlier this year.
Schoenn is seeded no.2 and behind her is Turkey’s Busra Un.
On the men’s side, world no.14 Japanese star Takuya Miki is the no.1 seed, the country’s top-ranked player Evans Maripa is seeded no.2 and Rafael Medeiros of Brazil is seeded third. Mauritius Open Champion Leon Els seeded no.4 is on Miki’’s side of the draw, and the two could meet up in the semifinals.
In the quads division, Lucas Sithole, the country’s number one quad ace who finished second at the NEC Masters this month will be heading the quads draw. Israel’s Haim Lev is seeded second with Bongani Dlamini at three.
Top juniors Alwande Skhosana and Nokwande Hlongwane are seeded no.1 in the boys and girls draw respectively.
Each tournament will include singles and doubles draws for men, women, quads and juniors.
