MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Ten Point High School learners took part in the SA Lifesaving National Championships (more than 700 competitors) in Port Elizabeth during the school holidays.
These Point learners took part as members of their clubs:
Mossel Bay Surf Lifesaving Club:
Janade Shaw, Jana Relihan, Richter Oosthuizen and Hansie Barnard.
This team qualified for six semi-finals (2 x sprints, 2 x flags, Malibu and surf swim) and four finals (2 x sprints and 2 x flags).
Marlin Surf Club team:
Rika Nortjé, Ané du Preez, Natasha Coetzee, Daniël de Waal, Joshua Hermanus and Sameer Matthews.
This team qualified for the following finals (open female beach relay x 3, female flags x 2, male flags x 1 and male sprints x 4).
