RUGBY NEWS - More than 3 000 students from nine provinces, representing all TVET colleges in South Africa, gathered for an exciting, jam-packed week of sport at the 2023 CoSACSA (College Sports, Arts and Culture South Africa) National Ball Games from 27 September in Cape Town.
The students participated in matches in various sport codes.
There are six TVET colleges in the Western Cape: South Cape, Boland, Cape Town, False Bay, Northlink and West Coast. Together, they make up the Western Cape TVET colleges.
The Western Cape TVET colleges rugby team won a silver medal.
The South Cape College students who played in the Western Cape TVET Colleges rugby team were: Geraldo Volkwyn - Mossel Bay Campus (Tourism Level 2 student); Guswin Robertson - Mossel Bay (Mechanical N2 - plating/boilermaking) and Siyabonga Ndlangamandla - George Campus (office administration Level 3).
