They are 12 boys with a passion for rugby. They established the Garden Route Saints team in December 2011, dedicating their time to the sport when other boys where having fun on the beach.
They have decided to change their lives for the better by playing sport to keep them positively occupied and out of mischief. Some of these young men have given their hearts to Jesus and became new born Christens, and have since become role models for other young children in the community, showing them how one can enjoy life, study and play without becoming involved in drugs or alcohol.
The organisers are looking for a kind-hearted sponsor to help them participate in a tournament in Cape Town that will culminate in Mossel Bay. The team is committed and, after having shown their worth in the Mossel Bay Sport Festival, the Garden Route Touchies are dedicated to represent Mossel Bay in this tournament.

To be able to participate in this league, they need transport: R30 000; accommodation: R12 000; food: R10 800 and kit R8 000.
