MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Municipality rugby team last night (Friday 25 October) obliterated the team of Hessequa Municipality with a final score of 92-0.
The Mossel Bay team tirelessly stacked up the tries in the SWDRU Municipal Rugby Challenge.
From the outset, it was clear that the Mossel Bay team meant business when the first try was scored within the first minute of the game. Then the tries were piled up and by half time, the score was 40-0.
In the first half, Mossel Bay had already scored 6 tries and 4 conversions. The coveted bonus point was in the bag.
Henn-Lin Botha, flyhalf, was voted Player of the Match. He scored 32 points with his 2 tries and 11 conversions. The backline Player of the Match is Shadward Fillies. He contributed 15 points with 3 tries.
