MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Girls from Hillcrest, Sao Bras and Great Brak high schools took part in an introductory rugby clinic, where they were taught the basics of the game, at the Great Brak rugby stadium.
Instructed
Mossel Bay-based South Western Districts (SWD) rugby coach Stanley Kama, SWD regional coach Sharmark Pedro, SWD schoolgirls' rugby programme manager Sihle Luyenge and SWD Youth Training Centre head coach for women and girls, Samuel Oktober, instructed the girls.
The clinic took place on Friday, 15 March.
Motivating
The coaches tour Mossel Bay schools, motivating the girls to play rugby.
Kama said: "We're looking forward to the rugby season and we encourage girls to play rugby and ask that their parents and schools support them."
