Bakkies Botha to captain World XV against Boks

NATIONAL NEWS - Bakkies Botha has been named as captain for the World XV team to play the Springboks on Saturday at Newlands.

The former Bok lock, who recently retired following a club career with Toulon in France, is joined by a host of his club teammates, including the likes of brothers Delon and Steffon Armitage at flank and fullback respectively.

All Blacks Carl Hayman starts at tighthead prop and Ali Williams is at lock.

Also included is former Bok and Toulouse loosehead Gurthro Steenkamp, while Bulls centre JJ Engelbrecht starts in the number 13 jersey.

The game on Saturday kicks off at 5pm.
