Junior Boxing Championships in Mossel Bay

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay is hosting the Western Cape Junior Boxing Championships this coming Saturday, 24 August.

Entry is free for competitors and supporters.

The championships will take place at the Indwe Secondary School hall in KwaNonqaba from 11:00. 

The Eden Open Boxing Organisation is hosting the provincial championships. There will be two age groups for boys and girls - 12 to 14 years and 15 to 16 years.

All the Western Cape regions will be participating. These include Eden, the Overberg, Cape Winelands, Cape Town and the Cape Town MOBO region. The tournament is funded by the Department of Sport and Cultural Affairs. It is at this tournament that selections for the national championships will take place.
