MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay men's hockey team on Saturday, 21 April, returned to the same address in George as the previous Saturday for their match against George.
They took to the field with a performance resembling the king of rock and roll, with the distinct "I'll be back" attitude of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the iconic sci-fi flick, Terminator.
With the stage set, the performance began with an orchestral display of disciplined determination to provide spectators and opponents with a hockey lesson.
The fine blend of the young guns with the mature players resulted in a constructive transfer of skills, leaving the opponents at a loss for words and goals.
The Mossel Bay men continued into the second half with a display of great hockey, dominating ball possession with great passing and communication and scoring the most amazing goals and making Mossel Bay proud.
The Mossel Bay team triumphed with the score board in their favour, 5-1.
Geeno du Plessis was named IKONic player of the week.
