MOSSEL BAY BOWLING NEWS - The Spar Day held on Wednesday, 2 May again ensured a full green of enthusiastic players who turned out to enjoy the unseasonal, good weather and a good game of bowls.
The Pro-10 Trips format used on these days calls for some mental agility when it comes to figuring out the score after each end.
There is lots of "finger maths" followed by "finger waving" when the scores are communicated back to the skips.
The teams with the best shots, the agilest brains and the most fingers on each hand, won the day and walked off with the prized Spar vouchers.
