Sailing course postponed

Despite the challenging weather, three women who attended on Saturday underwent land-based training, covering theory and knot-tying skills.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Due to the dangerous weather conditions and the state of the sea, the Steering the Course Women's Sailing Level 1 training, scheduled for Saturday, 14 October, was postponed to 27 October, weather permitting.

The training, organised by the Skipper Foundation in Mossel Bay, is for girls as well as women. It is free for those under 18 years old.

Those older than 18 are requested to make an R50 donation.

Despite the challenging weather, three women who attended on Saturday underwent land-based training, covering theory and knot-tying skills.

"The ladies had a wonderful time," said Elfie Holden, founder of the Skipper Foundation.
