GEORGE NEWS - Ricardo Otto (Otto Racing Team) has been crowned the 2017 SuperJunior racing champion after the final round of the SuperGP Champions Trophy that took place at Redstar Raceway last weekend.
Lagging by 16 points in the SuperJunior Championship and 12 points in the 250 Cup Championship, Ricardo was impressive in both classes.
He finished in the overall second position in the 250 Cup Championship and also won the SuperJunior Championship to crown a successful 2017 racing year.
Ricardo qualified on pole for both classes, winning race one in both classes and a second position, also in both classes, for race two.
He will know compete in die Super600cc class next year.
Ricardo Otto is currently preparing for the Red Bull Rookies Cup selection event.
He has been chosen to take part in the 3-day trial selection event in Spain in early October for the 2018 Red Bull Rookie Cup.
