MOSSEL BAY NEWS - This year will mark the 7th consecutive year the Mossel Bay Sport & Recreation Festival will be held. It will take place from 15 September – 14 October in and around Mossel Bay with various sporting activities and events on offer.
More than 40 sporting codes will be participating in the festival, such as badminton, boxing, bridge, chess, crossfit, dominoes, golf, motorsport, jukskei, karate, model aeroplanes, netball, rubber duck racing, sailing, tennis, and much more.
Some of the highlights include:
- PetroSA marathon,
- Moss March,
- KFC Point High School Cricket Festival (the biggest in the country) and the point
- Top 10 Athletics.
This year the Festival also marks the launch of the new Mayoral Cup 7’s Rugby & Netball Competition for rural teams to take place from 6-7 October in Great Brak River.
