BOXING NEWS - Mossel Bay boxer, Bulelani Nozinja Ngondeka, a member of the Garden Route Boxing Academy, lost his fight on Saturday, 13 October, at the Goodwood Correctional Centre in Cape Town.
He was fighting for the Western Cape title against the notorious Thembani "Baby Jake" Mbangatha.
Ngondeka lives in Elangeni, KwaNonqaba.
His coach, Masimphiwe Qatu, is a National Star 1 coach, who has produced numerous boxing legends.
The tournament was hosted by Jack Brice from Jackie Brice Promotions. Titled Clash of the Titans, the tournament turned out to be exactly that.
Mbangatha and Ngondeka had the crowd on its feet with powerful, persistent shots, but at the end of the day, it was Baby Jake who walked away with the title.
