MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Point High School invites all alumni to attend the interschool Mini Brag.

The event takes place at the Van Riebeeck Stadium on 2 August at 11:30. Everyone is invited. For more information, contact 044 691 2247.

On 3 August is the annual interschool contest between Point and Langenhoven Gymnasium of Oudtshoorn.

The Big Brag and Mini Brag are held to build spirit before this.

The Big Brag is on Thursday night, 1 August in the school hall, where all the first teams are announced for the interschool competition.

Learners, parents and friends are welcome to attend.

Ex-learners, parents and friends are invited to join the Mini Brag, when the other teams are announced to the rest of the school and the public.

After the formalities there are fun netball matches in which staff, prefects and two matric teams take part.

Another special tradition of the interschool contest is that the school windows on the back side of the school are decorated on Friday evening, 2 August.

Point also invites all supporters to an evening with the "Point family" at 18:00 on 2 August at Na Donker restaurant at the Hartenbos Seefront.

There will be three specials on offer: steak and chips for R125, burger and chips for R50 and fish, chips and salad for R69.
