MOSSEL BAY CYCLING NEWS - The Bayethe Cycling Academy intends to send three of its athletes to Iron Man South Africa 70.3 in East London in the Eastern Cape.
However, to make this dream come true, the athletes need sponsorship and support.
The three athletes are well prepared for the challenge. Bayethe Cycling Academy invites local and other businesses to sponsor the three to achieve their dream of taking part in Iron Man 70.3 in East London on 27 January next year.
Non-financial sponsorship
The athletes have successfully completed a number of national races within South Africa.
They have entry level bicycles and currently use these for all their training and competition participation.
They are in need of participation fees, high-end sports nutrition, professional Triathlon Bikes which could be sponsored or loaned, marathon running shoes and, to get them into perfect shape, indoor intensity gym membership.
The academy has committed to paying their swimming and improvement lessons on a monthly basis for the next four months and will transport the athletes from Mossel Bay to East London and arrange for and pay for the accommodation in East London.
The goal is to motivate young athletes from local townships to consider part taking in cycling and triathlon as a sport of choice.
Tax-deductible
The support offered is tax deductible and a Section 18A Tax Certificate with all supporting documents are available for the support offered. This can be used to support your company's BBB EE status as all beneficiaries the charities support fall well within the requirements of the socio-economic development category.
