MOTOR RACING NEWS - André Bezuidenhout last weekend had the perfect Simola Hillclimb outing, taking home not only his sixth consecutive King of the Hill crown, but also his maiden Classic Conqueror victory.
He and his Team Perfect Circle crew were in a league of their own all weekend, having started off by winning Classic Car Friday in a 1976 Lola T460.
They followed this up with a triumphant run in the Single Seaters and Sports Cars shootout where Bezuidenhout expertly steered his 2007 Gould GR55 up the 1,9km Simola Hill.
Negotiating wet and cooling track conditions, Bezuidenhout kept Devin Robertson and Andrew Rackstraw at arm's length on Sunday.
