BOXING NEWS - Artur Beterbiev won on a 12th-round stoppage over Enrico Koelling to claim the vacant IBF light-heavyweight belt at the Save Mart Centre in Fresno, California, on Saturday night.
Beterbiev dominated from the opening bell as Koelling tried to slow the fight down.
However, Beterbiev was just too strong for Koelling, before sending him down on two occasions in the last round to once again win inside the distance. Time was 2:33.
Beterbiev improved his record to 12-0; 12, and Koelling’s record dropped to 23-2; 6.

Former WBA middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs (33-2; 29) scored a unanimous 12-round points decision over previously unbeaten Luis Arias ()18-1; 9 at Long Island’s Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, on Saturday night.
