We are all very happy to have Dawn Wessels back in the fold, after a prolonged absence due to ill health… so watch this space because soon she will be back to form.
The scores made it look like the wind must have been misbehaving, but unfortunately we cannot blame the elements. What was probably responsible for some poor scoring, alas, our very tricky greens and some nasty pin positions (thank you, Raymond!)
I managed a paltry 34 points, which was enough to take top honours. Rita Wienand's 31 took second and Hettie Bruwer with 29 was third. Ina Swart, as has become her habit, nabbed the nearest the pin prize.

Winners of the 'Ladies at Home Day' in Oudtshoorn - from left: Ina Swart, Hettie Bruwer, Rita Wienand and Gloria Greyvenstein.
