MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Two Mossel Bay golfers, Ian Pautz and Lize-Mari Prinsloo, were crowned the Southern Cape mixed champions.
Pautz, a member of the Pinnacle Golf Club and Louis Oosthuizen Junior Golf Academy, and Prinsloo, a member of the Mossel Bay Golf Club, on Sunday 24 February, in a morning betterball game, scored two under par.
In the afternoon they played a four-player game and scored +7 for a total score of +5.
The championships were played at the Oubaai Golf Estate. According to Petrie Cronjé, chair of the golf academy, Pautz started playing golf at the age of eight and has been a member of the academy for the last three years. Prinsloo also played for the academy but left two years ago.
