MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Pinnacle Point Estate hosted its annual members-only club championship tournament on 6 and 7 January.
This year, the highly-anticipated event once again did not disappoint and delivered some exhilarating golf.
In the junior vivision, Schalk Booysen claimed the club championship title, followed by Evan du Preez as nett winner.
The senior club champion, Deon de Villiers, continued in good form, followed by nett winner Johan Smith and stableford winner, Dave Cooke.
In the C Division, all the way from Sweden, Stig Holmberg, recorded the nett win, followed by Hennie le Roux as the stableford winner.
The B Division winners were Francois Swanepoel as club champ, stableford champ Wian van Schalkwyk and nett champ, Pinnacle Point golf captain, Rudi Muller.
In the A Division, successfully defending his title, the formidable Jordan Duminy was crowned the men's club champion, followed by the men's stableford winner, Greg Heuer, and the men's nett winner, Jacques Wickens.
In the ladies' division, rising star Simoné Ferreira lifted the club champ trophy. Irina Jonsson won the ladies' stableford prize and Tersia Pelser, the ladies' nett champ prize.
The championships were played in extremely windy conditions. Although 24 ladies signed up to play, four pulled out because of the wind.
