A minute later, Gordon Igesund’s United took the lead through Boxall after receiving the ball from his New Zealand countryman, Jeremy Brockie and converted with his right foot as he made his run down the right flank to beat Tuks goalkeeper, Washington Arubi.
As Sammy Troughton’s Tuks chased the game in search of an equaliser, it was Brockie who threatened to double United’s lead but his shot went wide in the 10th minute.
Amatsantsantsa A Pitori made it two after 14 minutes when defender Daniels converted with a fine header beating Arubi for the second time.
As Ronwen Williams remained a spectator in the SuperSport goal, his counterpart Arubi became the busiest man on the field as he denied the New Zealand international, Brockie, in the 31st minute.
In the 76th minute, Tuks’ Thabiso Nkoana also tried his luck on goal for Tuks, but Williams was equal to the task and punched the ball away.
As the clock was slowly ticking against the hosts, Tuks,’ Atusaye Nyondo attempted a shot at goal, however, Williams stood firm and made a save.
