FOOTBALL NEWS - There will be no sentiment for Orlando Pirates midfielder Musa Nyatama when he comes up against his former side Bloemfontein Celtic in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday night as The Buccaneers look to take over at the top of the table.
Victory for Pirates, coupled with a draw or defeat for league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns at home to Chippa United, will see Pirates take over at the top of the table, though they will have played a game more.
Nyatama, who spent four seasons at Celtic, says he wants to make his new home of the Orlando Stadium a fortress.
“Coming to Orlando Stadium is always a big deal. Celtic will be highly motivated because they want to cause an upset and win at Orlando against Pirates. For most teams, when travelling to Orlando, the players see it as an opportunity to prove that they are better than the current Pirates squad so they can also show that they too deserve to play here,” Nyatama was quoted by his club’s website. “This is an opportunity to impress a big team so it’s motivation in its own. I know from personal experience because I also used the same approach when I was Celtic.
