Komphela was impressed by the determination displayed by his players after they overturned a 1-0 deficit in the second half to finish as 4-1 victors at the end of 90 minutes, against SuperSport United.
United started the game like a house on fire and seemed to be in control in the first half, dominating proceedings and taking the lead through Dove Wome’s goal.
Komphela admits that United were in charge in the first half and he had to wait for the half-time break to “tweak” the game plan.
“We looked at their patterns and spotted the threats early on. We couldn’t intervene immediately. We had to wait until half-time to tweak a few things.”
