SPORT NEWS - A good number of teams have signed up for the Bay Loans Junior Easter Soccer Tournament, taking place in Mossel Bay from Easter Friday, 7 April, to Monday, 10 April.
Teams are still welcome to sign up.
Organiser Edgar Ntebe says: "I encourage parents and supporters to come and support the teams. Also, it is the first time we will have girls' teams participating. Do support them."
Each day the gates are opening at 09:00 and the teams start playing at 10:00.
The age groups for boys and girls range from U11 to U19. This year will be the first that girls' teams are included in the tournament.
It takes place at the Extension 23 soccer fields, KwaNonqaba, in Mossel Bay.
There will be attractive prizes and trophies.
All teams wishing to take part should call Ntebe (061 875 6579) as soon as possible.
The tournament is presented by Youngsters Football Club, in partnership with the Mossel Bay Local Football Association (MOLFA).
